با كاهش نرخ رشد و پيرشدن جمعيت كشورها، جمعيت جوامع به يكي از موضوعات چالش‌برانگيز تبديل شده است. اين موضوع بسياري از متفكران را به سمت درك عوامل مؤثر بر كاهش باروري سوق داده است. فهم چگونگي كاهش باروري مستلزم درك تغييرات خانواده و جايگاه زنان بر اثر تغييرات جهاني است، زيرا زنان، به‌عنوان يكي از اركان مهم خانواده و باروري، تغييرات بسياري را در موقعيت خود تجربه كرده‌اند. اين تغييرات بر نگرش زنان و مردان به فرزند نيز بي‌تأثير نبوده‌اند. در اين مقاله، سعي شده تفاوت‏هاي نگرش به فرزند در ميان 400 زوج 15ـ49 سالۀ تهراني با استفاده از پرسش‌نامه بررسي شود. يافته‏هاي نهايي پژوهش نشان مي‏دهد كه تفاوت معناداري ميان زوجين در زمينۀ ارزش‌هاي مثبت و منفي فرزند و ارزش‌هاي خانوادۀ كوچك و بزرگ وجود ندارد. اين موضوع مؤيد آن است كه زوجين در زمينۀ نگرش به فرزند به همگرايي رسيده‌اند. علاوه بر اين، درآمد و تحصيلات نيز با ارزش‌هاي مثبت رابطۀ معناداري دارند. در ميان متغيرهاي تحقيق، سن نيز با ارزش‌هاي كوچك خانواده رابطۀ معناداري دارد. نتيجه‌گيري كلي نيز بر پذيرش هنجارهاي ليبرال در زمينۀ فرزندآوري تأكيد دارد.

By reducing the growth rate and aging population countries, communities population has become a controversial issue. This subject has led many thinkers to understand the factors influencing fertility decline. Understanding the quality of fertility reduction and family change requires to understand the status of women which is a result of global changes. Because women as one of the pillars of the family and fertility have experienced many changes in their position. absolutely This change affects the attitude to child of women and men. In this paper, the difference in attitude to child examine among 400 couples in Tehran who were 1549 years old by using the questionnaire. Final results showed that there isn’t any significant differences among couples about positive and negative children values & small and large fmily value. This suggests that couples have converge views to child. In addition, income and education are also significant correlation with positive values. Among the variables, age are associated with the values of the family. The overall conclusion is also insisting on the adoption of liberal norms in the field of fertility.
