بررسي توليد علمي دانشگاه علوم پزشكي گيلان در پايگاه استنادي اسكوپوس با شاخص‌هاي علم سنجي

Scientific Outputs of Guilan University of Medical Sciences in Scopus Database Based on Scientometrics Indicators

چكيده مقدمه: مطالعات علم‌سنجي با ارزيابي اولويت، چشم‌‌انداز و گنجايش، به سياستگذاران و مديران دانشگاه‌ها و روساي مراكز پژوهشي در گماردن و توازن بودجه با هزينه، انتصاب، ارتقاي پژوهشگران و موسسه‌ها كمك كرده و به شناخت بهتر نقاط توان و ناتواني گردآورهاي زير پوشش مي‌انجامد. هدف: بررسي توليد علمي دانشگاه علوم پزشكي گيلان، نمايه شده در اسكوپوس تا پايان سال 2014 با استفاده از شاخص‌هاي نوين علم‌سنجي. مواد و روش‌ها: پژوهش، مطالعه‌اي مقطعي در گستره علم‌سنجي است كه به بررسي توليد علمي دانشگاه علوم پزشكي گيلان نمايه شده در اسكوپوس از آغاز راه اندازي تا پايان سال 2014 مي‌پردازد. داده‌ها از پايگاه اطلاعاتي اسكوپوس جستجو و توليد علمي و تعداد گواهمندي به آن‌ها برون آورده شد. شناسه‌هاي علم‌سنجي در سه دسته كمي، كيفي و تركيبي برآورد شد. نتايج: 845 توليد علمي با 3078 استناد، با نشاني اين دانشگاه در اسكوپوس نمايه شده بود. "تعداد توليد علمي به نويسندگان" 28/5 ، نسبت تعداد نسبت "تعداد توليد علمي به تعداد اعضاي هيات‌علمي" 28/2 و نسبت "استنادات به مقاله‌ها" 64/3 بود. H index اين دانشگاه 23 و g Index 32، e Index 11/18 و M–Quotient 35/1 بود. نتيجه‌گيري: روند نشر توليدات علمي دانشگاه علوم پزشكي گيلان رو به رشد است. از سويي كمابيش نيمي از توليدات علمي اين دانشگاه بدون دست كم يك استناد بوده و به دليل پايين بودن استنادات، شاخص‌هاي تركيبي نيز سطح مناسب ندارند. از اين رو پيشنهاد مي‌شود براي بالا بردن توليد علمي، بستر مناسبي براي آسان‌سازي كارهاي پژوهشي در بخش‌هاي گوناگون دانشگاه و ارتقاي كاركرد كيفي همراه با گسترش كمي آنها فراهم شود.

Abstract Introduction: Scientometrics studies with Assessing priorities, perspectives and capacities help policymakers and managers of universities and heads of research centers in appropriation budget, balance between budget and cost, appointment, promotion researchers, leading to a better understanding of the strengths and weaknesses of their covered settings. Objective: this study investigates the scientific outputs of Guilan University of medical sciences (GUMS) indexed in Scopus database based on scientometrics indicators in 2014. Materials and Methods: this is a cross-sectional study in scientometric field that assesses GUMS Scientific outputs indexed in scopus database Since the establishment up to the end of 2014. Data from Scopus database and documents and citation from the time of establishment of this university were collected. scientometrics indicators in 3 domains of quantity, quality and hybrid were calculated. Results: overall, 845 scientific outputs with 3078 citations with the affiliation of this university were indexed in Scopus. Ratio of document to authors was 5.28, document to faculty members was 2.28 and ratio of citation of document was 3.64. H Index, g Index, e Index and M-Quotient of this university were respectively 23, 32, 18.11 and 1.35. Conclusion: The publication trend of GUMS scientific outputs is growing. In addition, almost half of scientific outputs of this university were without at least one citation and also combined indices don’t have the appropriate level due to the low citations. To increase scientific outputs, providing appropriate platform to facilitate research among different parts of university and improve qualitative performance with quantitative expansion of them, was recommended.
