بررسي رعايت اصول حفاظت در برابر پرتو ها در بخش هاي مراقبت هاي ويژه مركز آموزشي و درماني امام رضا(ع)كرمانشاه

Evaluation of the Observance of Radiation Protection Principles in Intensive Care Units at Imam Reza Hospital of Kermanshah

زمینه و هدف: بیش از ۸۰% بیماران در روند تشخیصی و درمانی خود به انجام پرتونگاری احتیاج دارند. به دلیل عوارض بیولوژیكی پرتوهای یونیزان رعایت اصول حفاظت در برابر پرتو ضروری می باشد. این تحقیق با هدف تعیین میزان رعایت اصول حفاظت پرتویی در بخش های مراقبت ویژه مركز آموزشی و درمانی امام رضا(ع) كرمانشاه سال ۱۳۹۳ اجرا گردید. روش بررسی: در این مطالعه ی توصیفی تحلیلی و مقطعی كه به روش سرشماری  انجام شد، عملكرد ۳۸ پرتونگار شاغل در مركز هدف در خصوص رعایت اصول حفاظت پرتویی نسبت به بیماران، پرتونگاران و پرستاران بخش مراقبتهای ویژه و سایر افراد در معرض پرتوگیری بررسی گردید. ابزار گردآوری داده ها پرسشنامه اطلاعات دموگرافیك و چك لیستی مشتمل بر ۳۱ اصل حفاظت پرتویی بود.  یافته ها: میزان رعایت كلی اصول حفاظت در برابر پرتو در بخشهای مراقبت ویژه در حد مناسب(%۹۴/۷) پرتونگاران بود. بیشترین و كمترین حیطه ای كه پرتونگاران اقدامات حفاظتی را در حد مناسب رعایت كرده بودند به ترتیب رعایت اقدامات حفاظتی نسبت به خود(%۹۴/۷) و رعایت اقدامات حفاظتی نسبت به پرستاران بخش مراقبت های ویژه و سایران(%۲۶/۳) بود. نتیجه گیری: مطابق نتایج این مطالعه، به طور كلی میزان رعایت اقدامات حفاظت پرتویی پرتونگاران در پرتونگاری پرتابل نسبت به خود پرتونگاران مطلوب، ولی نسبت به سایر پرستاران رضایت بخش نیست. به نظر می رسد كه با تجهیز بخشهای مراقبت ویژه به وسایل حفاظتی و الزام پرتوكاران به استفاده از آنها، كنترل و نظارت مداوم بر عملكرد حفاظتی آنان وضعیت حفاظتی موجود  به ۱۰۰% سطح مطلوب قابل ارتقا خواهد بود.

Background and Aim: More than 80% of patients need to take x-rays during their diagnosis and treatment stages. Due to the biological effects of ionizing radiation, observance of radiation protection principles are necessary. The observance of radiation protection principles in intensive care units at Imam Reza hospital of Kermanshah in 2014 was evaluated in this study. Materials and Methods: In this cross-sectional study which was performed by census method, performance of 38 radiographers working in target center was investigated regarding the following of the principles of radiation protection in respect of patients, nurses, radiographers, and other clients in intensive care units. Data collection tool included a questionnaire and a checklist of 31 principles of radiation protection.  Results: The overall level of observance of radiation protection principles in intensive care units was at an appropriate level (94.7%) in 36 radiographies. The highest and lowest levels of principle observance of radiographers were in respect to themselves (94.7%) and nurses in the intensive care units and other clients (26.3%), respectively. Conclusion: According to results in this study, radiation protection principles observance by radiographers during portable radiography examinations respect of themselves is appropriate but respect of other nurses is not satisfactory. It seems that it can be improved to 100% of the optimum level by equipping intensive care units to protective equipment, setting some obligations to use them, and controlling and continuous monitoring of protective measures of radiographers.
