Exploring the Meaning of Divorce from the View Point of Divorcees of Sabzevar City

هدف پژوهش حاضر معناكاوي طلاق از نگاه زنان مطلقه شهر سبزوار است. اين پژوهش به روش كيفي انجام شده است. داده ها از طريق مصاحبه عميق با 15زن مطلقه در شهر سبزوار به دست آمده است. نتيجه پژوهش دستيابي به ده مقوله اصلي است؛ مقوله محوري كه تمام مقولات را پوشش مي‌دهد، « امتناع از تعامل » است. مقولات علي عبارت اند از «مشكل رواني مرد، استفاده نادرست از تكنولوژي، برآورده نشدن انتظارات زن به دست شوهر و تفاوت ارزشي همسران»؛ و مقولاتي كه شرايط ميانجي را تشكيل مي دهند «دخالت والدين، بي اعتمادي به زن، مشكلات اقتصادي، بي مسيوليتي شوهر و اختلالات رواني او» درنظر گرفته شدند. پيامدهاي طلاق نيز در سه سطح خرد، ميانه و كلان بررسي شد. نكته مهم در باب پيامدهاي طلاق آن است كه از نظر زنان تحت مطالعه، تجربه طلاق در سطح خرد و ميانه پيامدهايي مثبت و منفي دارد، در حالي كه پيامدهاي سطح كلان صرفاً منفي است.

The purpose of this paper is exploring the meaning of divorce from the view point of divorcees through qualitative approach. Data were collected using deep interview with 15 women who had experienced divorce in Sabzevar city. Participants were selected through theoretical and purposive sampling. Data were analyzed by coding techniques. Ten main categories were explored as the result of interviews. The core category that covers all other ones is “refusal to interact”. Moreover, we found four causal category including “psychological problem of man”, “misusing technology”, women’s unmet expectations from the side of husband” as well as “value difference between couples”. Categories which constitute intermediate conditions include “parents’ intervention”, “distrust in wife”, “economic problems”, “husband’s irresponsibility” and “husband’s psychic problems”. Finally, we investigated divorce consequences at three levels: micro, meso and macro level. Important matter to point out here is that based on experiences participants, in micro and meso levels divorce has both positive and negative outcomes but in macro level all outcomes are negative.
