The Relationship of Cultural Intelligence and Communication Skills with Effectiveness of Experts of Physical Education and Health Deputy of the General Office of Education in Tehran

امروزه سازمان ها به دنبال افرادي هستند كه بتوانند به صورت گروهي عملكرد مطلوبي داشته باشند و از سوي ديگر توانايي برقراري ارتباط و تطبيق مستمر با افرادي از فرهنگ هاي مختلف را دارا باشند. بنابراين لازم است با فرهنگ هاي مختلف آشنا باشند و به طور مناسب با افراد ساير فرهنگ ها ارتباط بر قرار كنند. براي اين منظور، افراد نياز به هوش فرهنگي دارند. اين مطالعه به بررسي رابطه بين هوش فرهنگي و مهارتهاي ارتباطي با اثربخشي كارشناسان حوزه معاونت تربيت بدني و سلامت اداره كل آموزش و پروش شهر تهران پرداخته است. جامعه آماري اين تحقيق شامل كليه كارشناسان زن و مرد معاونت تربيت بدني و سلامت اداره كل آموزش و پرورش شهر تهران بود كه همه آنان بعنوان نمونه آماري در نظر گرفته شدند (100=n)). روش تحقيق حاضر توصيفي و از نوع همبستگي است. براي جمع آوري اطلاعات از پرسشنامه هاي هوش فرهنگي آنگ و همكاران (2007)، مهارتهاي ارتباطي بارتون جي (1991) و اثربخشي هسو (2002) استفاده شد. براي تجزيه و تحليل اطلاعات از آمار توصيفي و آمار استنباطي از جمله ضريب همبستگي پيرسون و تحليل رگرسيون چندگانه استفاده شد. سطح احتمال خطاپذيري در اين تحقيق 05/0p? در نظر گرفته شد. نتايج تحقيق نشان داد كه بين هوش فرهنگي و مولفه هاي آن(فراشناختي، شناختي، انگيزشي و رفتاري) با مهارتهاي ارتباطي و مولفه هاي آن(كلامي، شنودي و بازخوردي) در كارشناسان تربيت بدني زن و مرد رابطه مثبت و معنادار وجود دارد. هوش فرهنگي نسبت به مهارتهاي ارتباطي عامل پيش‌بين مناسبي براي اثربخشي كارشناسان تربيت بدني زن و مرد مي‌باشد. از ميان مولفه هاي هوش فرهنگي مولفه فراشناختي و از بين مولفه هاي مهارتهاي ارتباطي مولفه هاي كلامي و شنودي بهترين عامل پيش‌بين براي اثربخشي كارشناسان تربيت بدني زن و مرد شناخته شد.

Today organizations seek to employ individuals who can perform better in groups and on the other hand they possess the ability to communicate and adjust to people from varied cultures. Therefore, they need to know about other cultures and to interact with people from different cultural backgrounds. Consequently, they need cultural intelligence. The aim of this study was to investigate the relationship of cultural intelligence and communication skills with effectiveness of experts of physical education and health deputy of the general office of education in Tehran. Statistical population of this study included all male and female experts working in physical education and health deputy of the general office of education in Tehran and all of them participated as the sample in this study (n=100). The method used in this study was descriptive and correlation. For data collection, three questionnaires were used including Ang et al. Cultural Intelligence (2007), Barton Jey Communication Skills (1991) and Hsu Effectiveness (2002). Data were analyzed by descriptive and inferential statistics including Pearson correlation coefficient and multiple regression analysis (P?0.05). The results showed s a positive and significant relationship between cultural intelligence and its subscales (metacognition, cognition, motivation, behavior) and communication skills and its subscales (verbal, listening, feedback) in male and female physical education experts. Cultural intelligence was a better predictor of effectiveness of male and female physical education experts than communication skills. From cultural intelligence subscales, metacognition and also from communication skills subscales, verbal and listening factors were the best predictors of the effectiveness of male and female physical education experts.
