در ترجمه دو نامه امام علي (ع) در نهج‌البلاغه

On the Translation of Two Letters of Imam ‘Alī in Nahj al-Balāgha

فرصتي براي ترجمه دو نامه بسيار معروف امام علي (ع) در نهج‌البلاغه، يكي از متون مقدس شيعه پس از قرآن، از عربي به ژاپني براي من دست داد. يكي نامه امام به امام حسن، پسر ارشد او و دومين امام است، و ديگري نامه او به مالك اشتر به عنوان فرماندار مصر است. در اين مقاله، ابتدا جزييات ترجمه و انتشار آنها در دو جزوه در ايران و ژاپن توضيح و نشان داده شده كه توصيه موسسه نهج‌البلاغه در قم و كمك محققان ژاپني در اين راستا سودمند بوده است. سپس، مطالب اخلاقي آنها، به ويژه با استفاده از كتاب حكمت معيشت، تجزيه و تحليل شده است. در نامه اول، امام‌علي(ع) بر ضعف انسان در تمايل به بدي اشاره شده است، و امام به انسان‌ها سفارش مي نمايد كه با ابتكار خود و با كسب حكمت از طريق آموزه‌هاي او به انجام اعمال خوب بپردارند و در برابر خدا فروتن باشند. در اين زمينه، در نامه دوم، بر امام حكمرانان توصيه مي كند كه مردم را امر به معروف و نهي از منكر نموده و ارزش‌هاي بنيادي اخلاقي اسلام را ترويج نموده و براي محافظت از رفاه مردم عادي و جلوگيري از ظلم و ستم در جامعه اقدام نمايد.

I had an opportunity to translate the two most famous letters of Imam ‘Al? (a.s.) in Nahj al-Bal?ghah (Peak of Eloquence), the famous collection of the preaching and letters of Imam ‘Al? and one of the most sacred books of Shia Islam after the Qur‘an, from Arabic into Japanese. One of them is his letter to Imam ?asan, his eldest son and the second Imam, and the other is an appointment letter to M?lik Ashtar as the governor of Egypt. In this article, I explained first the details to translate and publish them in two booklets in Iran and Japan, indicating the recommendation of Institute of Nahj al-Bal?ghah in Qom and assistance of Japanese scholars. Second, I made an analysis on the contents’ ethical qualities, referring especially to the book of ‘Abdol-Kar?m Soroush, Hekmat va Ma‘?shat. In the first letter, ‘Al? stresses the feebleness of human beings inclined to vice, and instructs to do good with their own initiative, by acquiring wisdom through his teachings and becoming humble in the face of Allah. In this context, in the second letter ‘Al? instructs governors to enjoin good and forbid evil, the fundamental ethical value of Islam, to protect the welfare of the common people and avoid tyranny in administration.
