بررسي وضعيت نمايه شدن مجلات لاتين مصوب علوم پزشكي كشور در نمايه‎نامه هاي معتبر جهاني

Survey on the Status of Indexing Latin Approved Medical Journals in Iran in Major Global Indexes

زمینه و هدف: امروزه مجلات یكی از زمینه های تبادل اطلاعات بین محققان هستند. مطالعه ی حاضر با هدف بررسی وضعیت نمایه سازی مجلات لاتین مصوب حوزه علوم پزشكی كشور در پایگاه اطلاعاتی اسكوپوس و نمایه استنادی وب آو ساینس انجام شده است. روش بررسی: این پژوهش از نوع پیمایشی توصیفی و به روش مقطعی انجام شده است. جامعه ی آماری شامل ۸۳ عنوان مجله علمی لاتین مصوب وزارت بهداشت بود كه وضعیت نمایانی آنها در پایگاههای وب آو ساینس و اسكوپوس در سال های ۲۰۱۰-۲۰۰۵ مورد بررسی قرار گرفت. ابزار جمع آوری داده ها، سیاهه ی وارسی كنترل شده است كه با مشورت متخصصان حوزه ی وابسته تهیه و ضریب پایایی آن ۹۰% برآورد گردید. داده ها با نرم افزار Spss تحلیل گردید. یافته ها: بررسی وضعیت مجلات نشان داد عناوین نسبتاً كمتری(%۲۶) در پایگاه وب آو ساینس نمایه شده اند. همچنین در نمایه استنادی اسكوپوس ۶۹% مجلات نمایه شده بود. مقایسه ی معیارهای نمایه سازی مجلات در پایگاه اطلاعاتی وب آو ساینس و اسكوپوس با مجلات نمایه نشده نشان می‌دهد كه اطلاعات كتابشاختی مجله رعایت شده و در برخی مجلات(%۲۹/۳۰) شماره استاندارد بین المللی الكترونیكی لحاظ نشده بود. همچنین اطلاعات تماس برخی از مجلات(كدپستی نشریه ۹%) درج نگردیده بود.  نتیجه گیری: بطور كلی مشاهده گردید كه علی رغم رشد چشم گیر مجلات علمی در سالهای مورد بررسی، از لحاظ انطباق با معیارهای نمایه سازی در وضعیت نامطلوبی قرار دارند و مدیران مجلات علمی لاتین باید سعی در ارتقای وضعیت كمی و كیفی داشته باشند.

Background and Aim: Today journals are one of the main platforms to exchange information between researchers. This study aimed to assess the status of Approved Latin indexing journals in the field of medical science citation indexes Web of Science and Scopus databases. Materials and Methods: This study was a cross-sectional descriptive survey. Statistical population of the study was 83 titles Latin journals approved by the Ministry of Health that examined indexing situation of them in Web of science and Scopus databases between the years 2005-2010. Data collection tool was a controlled checklist that was established by consult with experts and specialists in related areas and its reliability was estimated 90 percent. Data were analyzed using the software spss16. Results: Survey the status of journals showed that slightly less than 26 percent of titles indexed in Web of Science. Also in Scopus Citation Index 69 percent of journals was indexed. Compare criteria for indexing journals in Web of Science and Scopus database show that bibliography information of not indexed journals considered and in some journals (29/30 percent) number of international standards were not mentioned. Also, some journals contact information (postcode publication 9 percent) was not included. Conclusion: In general, it was observed that despite the enormous growth of scientific journals between examined years, terms of adaption with the criteria of indexing are in unfavorable condition and managers of Latin scientific journals should try to improve their quality and quantity.
