An introduction to the History of Persian literature in Georgia

پيوندهاي فرهنگي - تاريخي ايران و گرجستان پيش از پادشاهي هخامنشيان آغازشده است .بخشي از آثار حماسي و اسطوره‌اي ايراني پيش از اسلام وارد فرهنگ گرجي شد. از قرن 12 ميلادي نيز شماري از آثار ادبيات فارسي دري ازجمله شاهنامه و ويس و رامين به زبان گرجي برگردانده شد .هرچند جز ترجمه ويس و رامين و پاره‌اي بخش‌هاي شاهنامه چيزي به دوره حاضر نرسيده است. در فاصله قرن‌هاي 15 تا 18 شماري از شاهكارهاي ادب فارسي- عمدتاً متون روايي و حماسي - به گرجي برگردانده شد. بعدها طي قرن بيستم برخي ديگر از آثار برجسته ادبي فارسي همچون آثار مولوي، سعدي، حافظ و خيام به گرجي ترجمه شد. آنچه حائز اهميت است تأثير شگرفي است كه آثار ادبي فارسي در شكل‌گيري و ايجاد ادبيات گرجي داشته‌‌اند .اين تأثيرگذاري هم در فرم هم در محتوا در شاهكارهاي ادب گرجي به‌خصوص پلنگينه‌پوش شوتا روستاولي به‌خوبي نمايان است. اين مقاله در پي آن است تا ضمن تبيين پيشينه ادب فارسي در گرجستان ، سير ترجمه آثار فارسي به زبان گرجي را بررسي كرده ، پس ازمعرفي برخي از مهم ترين ترجمه‌ها تأثير آنها را در ادبيات گرجي آشكار نمايد.

Historical and cultural relation between Iran and Georgia began before the reign of the Achaemenid. Part of the Iranian epic and legendary works entered in Georgian culture in pre-Islamic age. A number of Persian works such as the Shahnameh and Vis o Ramin was translated into Georgian languag in the 12th century. However, Nothing is left but a translation of Vis o Ramin, and parts of the Shahnameh. Between 15 and 18 centuries, some of the masterpieces of Persian literature - mainly narrative and epic literature - was translated into Georgian. During the twentieth century, some of Persian literature prominent works such as Rumi, Saadi, Hafiz and Khayyam was translated into Georgian. persian literature has a significant impact on the formation and establishment of Georgian Literature This impact both in form and content is well represented in Georgian literary masterpieces especially Shota Rustveli”s The knight in the panther's skin” This paper defines the process of translating Persian to Georgian and introduce some of these translations. It is also Examines the impact of Persian literature on the formation of Georgian Literature.
