مقدمه: حجم اطلاعات و وقت ناكافي متخصصان سلامت، حضور يك كتابدار باليني آشنا به وظايف حرفه‌اي را در تيم درمان ضروري مي‌نمايد. هدف از انجام پژوهش حاضر، تعيين ميزان آشنايي دانشجويان كتابداري و اطلاع‌رساني پزشكي و كتابداران با وظايف كتابدار باليني بود.
روش بررسي: اين مطالعه از نوع كاربردي بود و به روش پيمايشي- توصيفي انجام شد. جامعه آماري كه متشكل از دانشجويان مقطع كارشناسي رشته كتابداري و كتابداران شاغل در دانشگاه علوم پزشكي اصفهان بود، به روش سرشماري انتخاب شد. داده‌ها به وسيله پرسش‌نامه محقق ساخته جمع‌آوري گرديد و سپس با استفاده از آمار توصيفي و استنباطي مورد تجزيه و تحليل قرار گرفت.
يافته‌ها: دانشجويان و كتابداران دانشگاه علوم پزشكي اصفهان آشنايي به نسبت خوبي با وظايف كتابدار باليني داشتند. ارتباط معني‌داري بين نمره آشنايي كتابداران در سه محور مورد بررسي (اهداف، وظايف و كاركردها) با رشته تحصيلي و ميزان سابقه كاري مشاهده نشد. همچنين، فقط در مولفه جستجو و پژوهش تفاوت معني‌داري بين نمره آشنايي دانشجويان و كتابداران وجود داشت.
نتيجه‌گيري: با توجه به آشنايي نسبي نظري دانشجويان و كتابداران با مهارت‌هاي شغلي يك كتابدار باليني، امكان اجراي عملي اين مهارت‌ها در محيط باليني توسط دانشجويان اين رشته وجود دارد.

Introduction: Given the volume of information and time constraints of health specialists, it is necessary for clinical librarians to
work as part of medical teams. Therefore, this study aimed to determine the familiarity of students and librarians with duties of
clinical librarians.
Methods: This was an applied study carried out using descriptive survey method. The sampling was carried out using survey
method and the study population consisted of all bachelor level librarianship students and all librarians in Isfahan University of
Medical Sciences (IUMS), Iran. Data was gathered using a questionnaire made by researchers.
Results: Librarianship students and librarians in Isfahan University of Medical Sciences were familiar with duties of clinical
librarians. There was no significant relationship between the average familiarity score of librarians in all three dimensions of
duties, functions, and objectives with their field of study, level of education, and work experience. The only significant difference
between average scores of librarians and students was in the search/research dimension.
Conclusion: Students of librarianship and librarians have relative theoretical familiarity with work skills of clinical librarians and
they are similar to each other in this regard.
