حضور پژوهشگران دانشگاه علوم پزشكي اصفهان در شبكه‌‌ اجتماعي ResearchGate: يك مطالعه آلتمتريكس

A Survey on the Presence of Isfahan University of Medical Sciences Researchers in ResearchGate Network: An Altmetrics Study

مقدمه: شبكه اجتماعي RG (ResearchGate) يكي از نخستين شبكه‌هاي اجتماعي مي‌باشد كه با هدف افزايش همكاري ميان پژوهشگران و برقراري ارتباط بين آن‌ها و خوانندگان آثارشان راه‌اندازي شده است. پژوهش حاضر با هدف تعيين ميزان حضور پژوهشگران دانشگاه علوم پزشكي اصفهان در اين شبكه‌ اجتماعي انجام شد.روش بررسي: اين مطالعه به صورت پيمايشي و با رويكرد علم‌سنجي و با استفاده از روش آلتمتريكس صورت گرفت. داده‌هاي مربوط به دانشگاه علوم پزشكي اصفهان و پژوهشگران آن، از طريق شبكه‌ اجتماعي RG در بهمن سال 1394 بارگذاري گرديد. سپس داده‌ها وارد نرم‌افزار Excel شد و در نهايت داده‌ها بر اساس شاخص‌هاي نمره‌ RG، كل انتشارات، اثرگذاري كل، بارگذاري‌ها و بازديدها و آمار توصيفي مورد تجزيه ‌و تحليل قرار گرفت.يافته‌ها: 947 نفر از پژوهشگران دانشگاه علوم پزشكي اصفهان در شبكه‌‌ RG عضويت داشتند كه در مجموع، 2984 اثر علمي خود را در اين شبكه بارگذاري كرده‌ بودند. دانشكده پزشكي با داشتن 659 پژوهشگر فعال و بارگذاري 200 اثر علمي، پركارترين دانشكده و گروه كودكان با 237 عضو، فعال‌ترين گروه آموزشي از نظر تعداد پژوهشگر بود. پژوهشگران كشورهاي ايالات متحده آمريكا، ايران و چين بالاترين تعداد بازديد را داشتند و همچنين، بيشترين فراواني بارگذاري توليدات علمي پژوهشگران دانشگاه علوم پزشكي اصفهان در شبكه‌ RG را به خود اختصاص دادند.نتيجه‌گيري: با توجه به تعداد بالاي پژوهشگران دانشگاه‌ علوم پزشكي اصفهان به ‌عنوان يكي از دانشگاه‌هاي مادر كشور، اين آمار ميزان حضور پژوهشگران تا حدودي پايين است و اين امر مي‌تواند نشان‌ دهنده‌ بهره‌گيري به نسبت محدود از قابليت‌هاي شبكه‌ اجتماعي RG باشد.

Introduction: ResearchGate is one of the first social networks aims to foster collaboration and communication between researchers and their readers. The goal of the present research was to study the degree of presence of Isfahan University of Medical Sciences researchers in ResearchGate. Methods: The current study was a survey research using altmetrics data. The data of Isfahan University of Medical Sciences and its researchers were loaded through ResearchGate social network in February 2015. Then, the data were analyzed based on indicators ResearchGate score, total publications, total impact, loads, and views and descriptive statistics. Results: 947 of the researchers in Isfahan University of Medical Sciences had joined and loaded 2984 scientific works in ReseachGate. In addition, School of Medicine was the most active school with 659 active researchers and 200 scientific works. Moreover, in terms of the number of researchers, Department of Pediatrics was known as the most active department with 237 researchers. Conclusion: Despite the great number of university researchers in Isfahan University of Medical Sciences which is one of the great universities of Iran, the results showed that the amount of researchers’ presence in ResearchGate is relatively low. This may indicate the researchers’ limited use of ResearchGate network facilities.
