بررسي جايگاه و نقاط قوت و ضعف L/C به‌مثابه شيوه‌اي جهت پرداخت بهاي كالا در نظام تجارت بين‌الملل كنوني

A Study of the Position and the Strengths and Weaknesses of L / C as a Way to Pay for Goods in the Current International Trading System

امروزه روش‌هاي گوناگوني براي پرداخت وجه كالا در نظام تجارت بين‌المللي رواج پيدا كرده است كه شيوه اعتبارات اسنادي به دلايلي از جمله تأمين نقدينگي و منابع مالي، سهولت جهت اقامه دعوا به لحاظ صلاحيت محلي مرجع صالح و تضمين پرداخت به‌عنوان محبوب‌ترين شيوه پرداخت در نظام بين‌المللي محسوب مي‌گردد. اما اين شيوه نيز باطبع مانند ديگر شيوه‌هاي پرداخت بهاي كالا در تجارت بين‌الملل، داراي نقايص و معايبي چون زمان‌بري، داشتن هزينه نسبتا بالا و امكان بروز تقلب مي‌باشد. از ديگر سو اثبات شده است كه امروزه شيوه پرداخت الكترونيكي اعتبارات اسنادي به دليل مزايا ويژگي‌هاي ممتازي كه نسبت به ديگر روش‌هاي پرداخت دارد، همچنان با وجود ورود تاسيس‌هاي نوين ديگر به‌منظور پرداخت بهاي كالا، به‌‌عنوان بهترين، كارآمدترين و قابل اعتمادترين شيوه محسوب مي‌گردد و عملا نيز تجار در معاملات تجاري خود از اين روش بيشتر استقبال مي‌كنند.

Today, there are different ways to pay for goods in the international trade, but the letter of credit (L.C) method is considered the most popular payment method in the international system due to reasons including the provision of liquidity and financial resources, ease of litigation due to the jurisdiction of the local competent authority and guarantee of payment. However, this method, like the other payment methods in international trade, has shortcomings and disadvantages such as its being time-consuming, its relatively high cost and the possibility of fraud. On the other hand, it has been proven that the L/C electronic payment method is still considered the best, most efficient and most reliable payment method because of its advantages over other payment methods, despite the existence of other new payment methods, so that businessmen practically use this method in their business transactions.
