Delving into Note-Taking Technique in Consecutive Interpreting: Academic Context in Focus (Text in Persian)

بررسي دقيق فن يادداشت برداري در ترجمه شفاهي پياپي: تمركز بر بافت دانشگاهي

The present study is a short report on the broad research project of training and assessment of consecutive interpreting in English translation at B.A level in local universities. The focus of this report is on note-taking technique which is believed to be a major one in consecutive interpreting training based on the interpreting studies literature. The participants of the present research report were from Jahrom State University. These participants were exposed to a ten-week instruction of consecutive interpreting techniques one of which is note-taking. For an in-depth analysis of the application of this technique, after the administration of a 7-minuteaudio-visual test of interpretation and the collecting of the students' note-taking sheets, a retrospective interview was utilized to scrutinize the process of note-taking applied by the trainees The results indicated that the note-taking technique can be employed as an aid ta memory retention in the consecutive interpreting training classes.

تحقيق پيش رو گزارش كوتاهي است از طرح تحقيق گسترده اي كه در زمينه آموزش و ارزشيابي ترجمه شفاهي پياپي در مقطع كارشناسي مترجمي زبان انگليسي در دانشگاه هاي ايران انجام گرفته است. تمركز پژوهش حاضر بر فن يادداشت برداري است كه بر اساس ادبيات موجود در مطالعات ترجمه شفاهي يكي از فنون مهم آموزش ترجمه شفاهي پياپي محسوب مي شود. شركت كنندگان در اين تحقيق دانشجويان مقطع كارشناسي مترجمي زبان انگليسي دانشگاه جهرم بودند كه به مدت ده هفته تحت آموزش فنون ترجمه شفاهي پياپي كه يكي از آن ها ياددداشت برداري است، قرار گرفتند. به منظور تحليل دقيق چگونگي به كارگيري اين تكنيك توسط دانشجويان، از آن ها يك آزمون ترجمه شفاهي پياپي گرفته شد. آزمون شامل يك متن 7 دقيقه اي ديداري-شنيداري بود. پس از آزمون برگه هاي يادداشت برداري دانشجويان جمع آوري شد و به منظور بررسي دقيق تر، از آن ها يك مصاحبه مرورنگر هم به عمل آمد. نتايج حاكي از آن بود كه فن يادداشت برداري را در كلاس هاي آموزش ترجمه شفاهي پياپي مي توان به عنوان يك وسيله موثر تقويت حافظه به كار برد.
