چكيده فارسي :
دیرزمانی است كه میان برخی از دانشمندان و متكلمان غربی نزاع سختی در باب حوزه و قلمرو و همچنین اعتبار و وثاقت علم و دین درگرفته است. در طول سده‌های گذشته، هر یك از این دو قلمرو از اینكه دیگری را به‌مثابۀ یك دانش و معرفت واجد حقیقت در نظر بگیرند، طفره رفته‌اند و دلایل فراوانی در رد و محكومیت دیگری ارائه كرده‌اند. از این‌رو در نوشتار حاضر ضمن تأكید بر این نكته كه پیشرفت علمی جوامع بشری لزوماً با سكولاریسم ارتباطی ندارد، با نظر به كل نظام فكری هگل، دیدگاه وی در زمینۀ رابطة علم و دین بررسی خواهد شد. به باور هگل، معرفت و آگاهی بشر بر اساس یك سیر دیالكتیكی تاریخی پیوسته در حال تكامل بوده و متناسب با بسط و پیشرفت آن، علم و دین نیز توأمان و با تناظر یك‌به‌یك دچار تحول و پویایی شده‌اند. به بیان دیگر، او با اشاره به مراحل چهارگانة تكامل تمدن‌ها و مراتب استكمال ادیان در بستر تاریخ، بر این باور است كه در هر دوره‌ای از تاریخ جهان، میان علم و دین آن زمان، تعامل و ارتباط نزدیكی وجود داشته و این دودر هیچ دوره‌ای به هیچ عنوان در تباین با هم نبوده‌اند. گرچه كامل‌ترین نوع تعامل میان علم و دین و مصداق تام و اتمّ این رابطه از نظر وی در مسیحیت پروتستان و دورة ژرمنی وجود داشته است. از این‌رو بر اساس رویكرد تعاملی و آشتی‌گرایانة هگل، علم و دین دو ساحت متفاوت تجلیات روح مطلق هستند و در طول تاریخ به‌صورت مشترك و به‌موازات هم به تعالی آگاهی بشر مدد رسانده‌اند.
چكيده لاتين :
For a long time, there has been a severe struggle between some Western scientists and theologians on the domain and reliability of science and religion. During the past centuries, each of these domains has refused to acknowledge the other one as the source of knowledge containing reality; so they have put forward many arguments to condemn each other. For example, most of the scientists, clinging to the supremacy of their own domain, go on maintaining the fiction that there is an antagonism between science and religion, and that religion has nothing to do with reality. Although, at the same time, there have been scientists who had a positive attitude toward religion. In this paper, the viewpoint of Hegel, one of the most influential philosophers in the Western metaphysics, will be taken into consideration. According to him, in the history of the world, human beingʹs knowledge has risen up gradually and in each period, there has been a parallel dialogue and interaction between science and religion of that time. The reason is that as science has developed in the process of history, religions have also gotten more rational and complicated. So, according to Hegel, science has not led us to a secular and naturalistic or a materialistic orientation in the 21th century and the story of antagonism between science and religion is a factitious and fabricated story
