تحليل و ارزيابي تنوع و تساهل در انديشه سياسي جان رالز

Analysis and assessment of Diversity and Tolerance in the Political Thought of John Rawls

اين مقاله قصد بررسي اين پرسش را دارد كه چگونه مي‌توان چندفرهنگ‌گرايي را پاس داشت و در عين ‌حال از حقوق فردي افراد در برابر گروه‌هاي فرهنگي و قومي اقليت دفاع كرد؟ در پاسخ به اين پرسش، راه كار «جان رالز» را كه در كتاب «ليبراليسم سياسي» مطرح كرده، با تاكيد بر تفكيك عقلانيت از معقوليت بررسي مي كنيم. اما در پايان مشخص مي‌گردد كه تعريف رالز از معقوليت به ‌شدت مضيق و محدودكننده است و هر چند اساس تفكيك عقلانيت و معقوليت مي‌تواند مبناي خوبي براي تساهل در جوامع چندفرهنگي باشد، اين تعريف به ‌شدت مخل اين هدف است. پژوهش پيش رو از رويكرد تفسيري، تحليل مفهومي و ارزيابي انتقادي به ‌مثابه رهيافت نظري بهره مي‌برد و بر اساس آن به مسيله تنوع فرهنگي به‌ عنوان زمينه شكل گرفتن طرح موضوع و نيز نظريه عدالت رالز، به ‌عنوان بستري كه امر معقول و عقلاني در آن متولد مي‌شود و مي‌بالد، مي‌پردازد.

This paper aims to examine the question of how we can respect multiculturalism and at the same time defend the rights of the individuals against ethnic minorities and cultural groups? In response to the question, we examined Rawlsʹs strategy mentioned in his book of "political liberalism" emphasizing on the separation of rationality from reasonableness. But at the end it becomes clear that Rawlsʹs definition of reasonableness is extremely strict and restrictive, and in spite of the distinguishing rationality and reasonableness can be a good basis for tolerance in multicultural societies, but this definition is highly detrimental to this goal. This research has exploited interpretive approach, conceptual analysis and critical assessment as the theoretical strategies and based on this fact, it deals with the issue of cultural diversity as a context of forming the subject introduction and also considering Rawlsʹs theory of justice as background in which the idea of reasonableness and rationality was born and grown.
