Theoretical Principles of Women’s Right to Freedom in Viewpoint of Imam Khomeini

حق‌آزادي زنان از ديدگاه امام خميني، مبتني بر مباني عقلي، نقلي و شهودي است. اختيار انسان كه در آموزه هاي ديني تاكيد شده و خاستگاه كلامي دارد در نظريه امام عنصر محوري حق آزادي است. عنصر عقلي آزادي انسان كه حريت مرد و زن را تامين مي كند «اصل توحيد و انحصار حق طاعت خداوند» است. عقل سليم، انسان را در برابر خالق هستي مطيع مي‌داند و از اين رهگذر آزادي در عقيده، آزادي در سبك زندگي و ديگر موارد-تازماني كه مخالف قانون الهي نباشد- تبيين مي شود. در شهو دهاي عرفاني، حق آزادي حق بالعرض است كه به خاستگاه اصلي، يعني حق بالذات (خداوند) باز مي گردد. حق‌آزادي زنان از منظر امام بسيار گسترده است ‌به‌گونه‌اي كه بانوان با رعايت قوانين شرعي در تعاملات اجتماعي، فرهنگ و سياست (به‌جز ولي فقيه) مانند مرد‌ها از حق آزداي برخوردارند. شكل گيري جامعه سعادتمند در نظريه امام در گرو مادران نيكوكار است كه با تربيت درست فرزندان و معرفي الگوهاي صحيح، افراد سالم به جامعه تحويل مي دهند. مقوله كرامت انسان كه امام بر نسبت تساوي آن ميان مرد و زن تاكيد دارد، ديدگاه وي را از رويكرد آزادي غربي متمايز مي سازد و با برخي از محدوديت هاي شرع قابل جمع است.

In view of Imam Khomeini, the right of freedom for women is based on rational, traditional and intuitional foundations. The voluntary act, that has been stressed in religious teachings and is of scholastic origin, is the pivotal element of the right of freedom according to Imam Khomeini. The rational element of man’s freedom, that bestows freedom upon man and woman, is the “principle of monotheism and monopoly of the obedience to God.” The common sense makes man obedient before God and in this sense, freedom of opinion, freedom of life, and other types of freedom are clarified as far as they are not against the Divine law. In theosophical intuitions, the right of freedom is accidental that returns to its origin, i.e. The Ultimate Right (God). In view of Imam Khomeini, the right of freedom for women is very extensive in such a way that women can freely – like men - participate in all social, cultural, and political activities (except the capacity of the Guardianship of the Islamic Jurist). Imam Khomeini believes that a prosperous society depends upon the performance of the righteous mothers who rear righteous children, introduce righteous models to the society, and give the society righteous people. The issue of human reverence, where he attaches equal significance to men and women, distinguishes Imam Khomeini’s attitude toward freedom from that of the Western approach to freedom. It is collectable with some restrictions in Sharia law.
