بازنمايي هويت ملي در كتاب‌هاي نوانتشاريافته زبان انگليسي در نظام آموزش رسمي كشور

The Representation of National Identity in Newly-Developed English Textbooks of the Iranian Formal Education System

متاثر از تحولات گسترده جهاني، مقوله هويت، به مثابه موضوعي مهم در پژوهش‌هاي فرهنگي و اجتماعي و نيز سياست‌گذاري‌هاي كلان، با بازنمودهايي گوناگون همراه بوده است. اين اهميت سبب شده تا نظام‌هاي سياسي به اين مقوله نگاهي ويژه داشته باشند، كه تجلي آن را مي‌‌‌توان در حوزه آموزش زبان يافت. يافته‌ها مبيِنّ آن است با وجود آن‌كه اين مقوله در بررسي برخي كتاب‌هاي درسي نمود دارد، اين موضوع كمتر در كتاب‌هاي آموزش زبان انگليسي كه خود مي‌تواند حامل هويت و فرهنگ بيگانه باشد، بررسي شده است. در اين مقاله، به روش توصيفي ـ تحليلي به بررسي محتوا و تصاوير كتاب‌هاي نوانتشاريافته زبان انگليسي پرداخته شده است. يافته‌ها نشان مي‌دهد كه توجه به مقوله هويت ملي، به‌عنوان يكي از شاخص‌‌ترين انواع هويت، در كتاب‌هاي جديد جايگاهي ويژه يافته است كه مي‌توان مباني آن را در بهره‌گيري از رويكرد نوظهور آموزش انتقادي در حوزه آموزش زبان انگليسي يافت.

Influenced by the massive global developments, the notion of identity as an important issue in social and cultural research as well as macro policies, has been accompanied by various representations. Such significance has made the political systems pay attention to the notion that its reflection has been represented in the field of education. The data reveal that while the issue has been studied in some textbooks, it is less studied in English textbooks. In this paper, through a descriptive and analytic study, the content and pictures of the newly-developed English textbooks were analyzed. It could be concluded that such attention to the issue of national identity, as one of the most significant dimensions of identity, has gained a favorable position which might be related to the purposeful use of critical pedagogy as a recent approach in English language teaching
