هتلداري هم يكي از مهم­ترين متغيرهاي سيستم گردشگري به حساب مي­آيد و نيز يكي از بخش­ هاي اقتصاد است كه نقش مهمي در رونق و توسعه اقتصادي و اشتغال‌زايي ايفا مي­كند. هدف اين مقاله تحليل و بررسي نقش برنامه ­ريزي در توسعه صنعت هتلداري بر توسعه گردشگري و نيز اقتصاد ايران است. سؤال اصلي مقاله اين است كه توسعه صنعت هتلداري چه تأثيري بر توسعه گردشگري و نيز رونق اقتصاد ايران بازي مي‌كند؟ علاوه بر اين سؤال اصلي سؤالات فرعي ديگري نيز در اين مقاله مطرح مي­شود از جمله اينكه صنعت هتلداري داراي چه تاريخچه و اهميتي است؟ گردشگري داراي چه مؤلفه‌ها و ويژگي­هايي است؟ نتايج اين مقاله نشان مي­دهد كه صنعت هتلداري و برنامه‌ريزي براي توسعه اين صنعت يكي از مهم­ترين متغيرهاي تمايز آفرين ميان گردشگري سنتي و مدرن است و در عين حال كه باعث امنيت، رفاه و جذب گردشگر مي­شود از طرف ديگر نيز سهم قابل توجهي در افزايش توليد ناخالص داخلي كشورها ايفا مي‌كند. با توجه به اين مقدمه در اين مقاله تلاش خواهد شد با استفاده از مقالات علمي پژوهشي و نيز ساير منابع كتابخانه‌اي و نيز مقايسه آمار و اطلاعات گردشگري كشورهاي مختلف تأثير برنامه‌ريزي در توسعه صنعت هتلداري بر توسعه گردشگري و اقتصاد ايران تحليل و تبيين شود.

Hotel accommodation is also one of the most important variables in the tourism system and also one of the economic sectors that plays an important role in boosting economic development and job creation. The purpose of this paper is to analyze the role of planning in the development of the hotel industry on the development of tourism and economy in Iran. The main question of this article is that development of hotel industry plays what impact on the development of tourism and the prosperity of the Iranian economy? In addition to the main question they are raised other sub-questions also in this article including what is the history and importance of the hotel industry? What are the characteristics and characteristics of tourism? The results of this article show that hotel industry and planning for the development of this industry is one of the most important distinguishing variables between traditional and modern tourism and at the same time that gets cause security, prosperity and tourist attraction on the other hand, too plays a significant contribution to GDP growth in countries. Given this introduction this article will try using research papers as well as other library resources as well as comparisons of tourism statistics of different countries analyze and explain the impact of planning on the development of hotel industry on the development of tourism and economy of Iran.
