از نخستين پژوهش هاي ادب تطبيقي در ايران به سال 1330ه.ش تاكنون، مقاله هاي زيادي در پيوند بين آثار ادبي ايران با ساير ملل جهان، نوشته شده است. در تبيين وضعيت و جايگاه مطالعات انجام يافته و يافتن موضوعات تازه و آگاهي از آبشخورهاي فرهنگي و زمينه هاي شكل گيري آثار ادبي و آگاهي از سهم اثرگذاري و اثرپذيري و مشابهت و همساني بين مفاهيم ادبي آثار، پژوهش هاي جامعي انجام گرفته است كه در اين جستار به تحليل موضوعي مقاله هاي ادب تطبيقي در ايران پرداخته مي شود. اين پژوهش نشان مي دهد در چه ساحت ها و زمينه هايي با فراواني مقاله ها و يا تكرار مطالب مواجهيم و در چه زمينه ها و موضوعاتي مي توان پژوهش هاي تازه انجام داد.
