مقايسه تطبيقي شاخص هاي توسعه زنان در ايران و كشورهاي همسايه آن

A Comparative Study of Women Development Indices in Iran and Its Neighboring Countries

در مقاله حاضر، توسعه انساني با تاكيد بر شاخص تعديل شده مبتني بر جنسيت در ايران ارزيابي و با كشورهاي همسايه آن مقايسه شده است. روش به كار رفته روش تطبيقي و اسنادي با استفاده از داده هاي گزارش توسعه انساني سازمان ملل در سال 2013 است. نتايج حاكي از آن است كه ايران به لحاظ شاخص هاي توسعه زنان در رديف هاي انتهايي جدول كشورهاي با توسعه انساني بالا قرار دارد، اما ملاحظه اجزاي اين شاخص گوياي آن است كه ايران در زمينه شاخص هاي سلامتي و آموزش زنان از متوسط جهاني و متوسط كشورهاي با توسعه يافتگي بالا بهتر عمل كرده است. از طرف ديگر، شاخص هاي مشاركت زنان در مجلس و بازار كار لزوماً معيار خوبي براي تشخيص توسعه يافتگي زنان كشورها به شمار نمي رود و تعريف شاخص هاي كارامدتر براي ارزيابي موقعيت سياسي و اقتصادي زنان در جامعه ضروري است

In this paper, human development with emphasis on gender-related adjusted index has been comparatively examined in Iran and its neighboring countries. The research methodology is a comparative one, and the data was collected through documents and the 2013 Human Development Report by the United Nations. The findings reveal that considering women development indices, Iran stands in the lower ranks of the list of countries with high human development. However, the components of this index indicate that Iran has climbed upthe averagevaluesof human development index in the world and the countries with high human developmentin case of women’s health, hygiene and education development indices. Nonetheless, indices like women cooperation in the parliament and business market are not necessarily appropriate for determining women development in a country and more effective indices for evaluating political and economic development of women should be taken into consideration.
