Challenges of Equivalence Finding in Translations of the Specific Multilanguage Dictionaries based on Trilingual Dictionary of Economic and Financial Terms Composed by Dr. Mustapha Henni

اين پژوهش با رويكرد تحليلي ـ توصيفي به بررسي مهم‌ترين چالش‌هاي برابريابي در ترجمة فرهنگ ‌لغات و اصطلاحات تخصصي چندزبانه مي‌پردازد. واكاوي اين چالش‌ها از رهگذر ترجمة فرهنگ اصطلاحات تخصصيِ فرانسه‌ ـ انگليسي ـ عربي معجم المصطلحات الإقتصاديةوالمالية اثر دكتر مصطفي هنّي به زبان فارسي، از سوي نگارندگان اين اثر حاصل شده‌است. چالش‌ها در اين پژوهش به دو بخش تخصصي و عمومي دسته‌بندي گرديده‌است. آسيب‌ها و چالش‌هاي تخصصي كه ويژة ترجمة لغت‌نامه‌ها و فرهنگ‌هاي اصطلاحات چندزبانه است، عبارتند از: «ناهمگوني فرهنگ لغت‌ها در ترجمه و چالش مترجم فارسي در ارائة برابرنهادة يكسان»، «اختلاف در برابريابي واژگان و اصطلاحات از زبان اصلي»، «ناهمگوني در برگردان واژگان و اصطلاحات بين زبان‌هاي مختلف» و «برابريابي و برگردان دقيق علايم اختصاري». چالش‌هاي عمومي نيز كه چالش‌هايي مشترك در انواع متون تخصصي چندزبانه (به‌ويژه متون مالي و اقتصادي) است، عبارت است از: «برابريابي در ترجمة اصطلاحات تخصصي» و «آشنايي با زبان اصلي متن مبدأ در گزينش برابرنهادة مطلوب». نگارندگان در فرايند واكاوي اين چالش‌ها، ضمن استناد به مثال‌هاي متعدد براي تبيين مسئله، راهكارهايي كاربردي براي رفع چالش مورد نظر و ارتقاي سطح ترجمة متون چندزبانه در كشورمان ارائه داده‌اند

This research, with the analytical-descriptive approach, examines the most important challenges in finding equivalents in the area of translation of the multilingual terminology dictionaries. Examination of these challenges has been achieved through translation of the multilingual terminology lexicon: A Dictionary of the Economic and Financial Terms (French – English – Arabic) by Mustafa Henni. The challenges in this research have been divided into two parts: Specialized and general. Specific challenges and damages, which are specially related to the translation of multilingual terminology dictionaries include “inconsistencies in translation and the problems encountered by the Persian translator in finding the proper equivalents”, “differences in provision of the terms from the source language”,” incongruity in providing equivalents of vocabularies and idioms among different languages” and finally, “finding the precise equivalents and translation of abbreviations.” The general challenges which are common in various multilingual texts, especially financial and economic, consist of “finding equivalents in the translation of specialized texts” and “having familiarity with the content source language when choosing suitable equivalents.” The writers in the process of studying these challenges, while citing numerous examples to explain the problems, have provided practical solutions for removing of the specified issues, and promotion of the level of multilingual translation in Iran.
