A Critic of the book: An Introduction to The Urbanization in the Seljuk Period

ﻧﻮﺷﺘﺎر ﺣﺎﺿﺮ ﻛﺘﺎب ﺟﺴﺘﺎرﻫﺎﻳﻲ درﺑﺎرة ﻣﻨﺎﺳـﺒﺎت ﺷـﻬﺮ و ﺷﻬﺮﻧﺸﻴﻨﻲ در دورة ﺳﻠﺠﻮﻗﻴﺎن را از دو ﻣﻨﻈﺮ اﻳﺠﺎﺑﻲ و ﺳﻠﺒﻲ ﻧﻘﺪ ﻣـﻲ ﻛﻨﺪ. ﺗﻜـﻮﻳﻦ ﻧﺴـﺒﻲ ﺳـﺎﺧﺘﺎر اﻗﺘﺼﺎدي ـ اﺟﺘﻤﺎﻋﻲ ﺷﻬﺮﻫﺎ در ﻋﻬﺪ ﺳﻠﺠﻮﻗﻲ و ﻛﺎرﻛﺮدﻫﺎي ﺑﻪ ﺳﺎﻣﺎن ﺗﺮي ﻛﻪ در اﻳﻦ ﻋﻬﺪ ﭘﻴﺪا ﻛﺮدﻧﺪ از وﺟﻮه ﻣﻤﺘﺎز ﺗﺎرﻳﺦ اﻳﺮان اﻳﻦ ﻋﻬﺪ اﺳﺖ ﻛـﻪ ﻛﺘـﺎب ﻣـﺬﻛﻮر را از اﻫﻤﻴﺖ و ﻗﺎﺑﻠﻴﺖ ﻧﻘﺪ ﺑﺮﺧﻮردار ﻣﻲ ﺳﺎزد. در ﻋﻬﺪ ﺳـﻠﺠﻮﻗﻴﺎن زﻣﻴﻨـﻪ ﻫﺎي ﺗﺜﺒﻴـﺖ و ﻧﻬﺎدﻳﻨﮕﻲ ﺳﺎﺧﺘﺎر ﺣﻴﺎت ﺷﻬﺮي در اﻳﺮان ﻓﺮاﻫﻢ ﺷﺪ و ﻣﻴﺮاث ﺑﺎﺳـﺘﺎﻧﻲ و اﺳـﻼﻣﻲ و دﺳﺘﺎوردﻫﺎي ﻓﺮﻫﻨﮕﻲ و ﺗﻤﺪﻧﻲ اﻳﺮاﻧﻴﺎن در ﻗﺮون آﻏـﺎزﻳﻦ اﺳـﻼم درﻫـﻢ آﻣﻴﺨـﺖ و ﺳﺎﺧﺘﺎر اﻗﺘﺼﺎدي ـ اﺟﺘﻤﺎﻋﻲ ﻗﺎﺑﻞ اﻋﺘﻨﺎﻳﻲ ﺑﻪ ﺧﻮد ﮔﺮﻓﺖ. ﻣﺆﻟﻒ ﻛﺘـﺎب ﺑـﺎ در ﻧﻈﺮ داﺷﺘﻦ اﻳﻦ ﻣﻬﻢ، ﻳﻌﻨﻲ ﺳﻴﺮ ﺗﺤﻮل ﺷـﻬﺮ و ﺷﻬﺮﻧﺸـﻴﻨﻲ در ﺗـﺎرﻳﺦ اﻳـﺮان، ﺑـﻪ ﺳـﺮاغ ﻣﻨﺎﺳﺒﺎت ﺷﻬﺮي اﻳﻦ دوره رﻓﺘﻪ اﺳﺖ و ﺑﺎ ﺗﻤﺮﻛﺰ ﺑﺮ اﻗﺘﺼـﺎد ﺷـﻬﺮي و ﻛﺎرﻛﺮدﻫـﺎي ﻣﻌﻴﺸﺘﻲ ﺷﻬﺮ در دوران ﻣﻴﺎﻧﻪ، ﻣﻨﺎﺳﺒﺎت اﻗﺘﺼﺎدي ﺷﻬﺮ ﻋﻬـﺪ ﺳـﻠﺠﻮﻗﻲ را ﺑـﺎ دﻳﮕـﺮ ﻧﻈﺎم ﻫﺎي ﺗﻮﻟﻴﺪي اﻳﻦ ﻋﻬﺪ ﺑﺮرﺳﻲ و ﺗﺤﻠﻴﻞ ﻛﺮده اﺳﺖ.

This article critics the explanative and interpretative position of: An Introduction to The Urbanization in the Seljuk Period. The creation of social and economic structure of cities in Seljuk's era and more organized functions that been performed, are some of the best aspects of Iran history in this era that give this book value of criticizing. Back grounds of Consolidation and institutionalization of urban structure have been prepared in Iran in Seljuk's era and ancient and Islamic heritages and cultural and civilized achievements in beginning eras of Islam integrated with each other and reached significant social-economical structure. The author besides paying attention to process of developing of city and urbanization in Iran history, research about urban relations of this era and by concentrating on urban economy and subsistence function in middle age, survey economical relations of cities with other productive systems during Seljuk's era.
