Comparative Ontology: Challenges and Defects. A Critic of the book “HerameHasti (Pyramid of Being): A Critic of the Foundations of Comparative Ontology”

يكي از مهمترين حوزه ‌هاي پژوهشيِ نوظهور در علوم انساني و بويژه در پژوهش ‌هاي فلسفي و كلامي، پژوهش‌ هاي تطبيقي است. امروزه در بسياري از كشورها فلسفه‌ ي تطبيقي به عنوان حوزه‌ ي پژوهشيِ مستقلي قلمداد شده و به مثابه رشته ‌اي نظام ‌مند و داراي روش، پژوهش ‌گران خاص خود را دارد. در كشور ما نيز پس از انقلاب، انديشمندان در حوزه‌ ي فلسفه، بويژه در مباحث هستي‌ شناسي، علاقه‌ ي خاصي به پژوهش‌ هاي تطبيقي از خود نشان داده و آثار متعددي در اين خصوص نگاشته ‌اند. مرحوم دكتر مهدي حائري يزدي از جمله‌ ي انديشمنداني است كه سعي كرده تا گام مهمي در پژوهش‌هاي تطبيقي در فلسفه بردارد. بسياري او را به نوعي يكي از پايه‌هاي اصلي فلسفه‌ ي تطبيقي در ايران مي‌ دانند. در اين جستار بر آنيم تا با بازخواني كتاب ارزشمند او با عنوان "هرم هستي"، نگاه تازه‌ اي به تحليل‌ هاي هستي‌ شناسانه‌ ي مرحوم حائري يزدي داشته باشيم، تحليل ‌هايي كه به زعم ايشان مي ‌تواند در زمره‌ ي تحليل‌ ها و پژوهش‌ هاي تطبيقي در فلسفه قلمداد شود. در اين ميان، با توجه به روشمند بودنِ پژوهش‌ هاي تطبيقي در دنياي امروز، از برخي كاستي ‌هاي محتوايي و روش‌ شناسانه ‌ي اين اثر نيز سخن خواهيم گفت.

One of the most important subjects for investigation in the humanities, especially in philosophy and theology, is the comparative investigation. Today in many countries, comparative philosophy is an independent discipline that has for itself different especial method and investigators. In the Islamic Republic of Iran too after the Islamic Revolution, many thinkers tried to investigate on comparative subjects and published different books and articles about this subjects and also about the comparative philosophy itself. Dr. Mahdi HaeriYazdi is one the contemporary Islamic thinkers that has investigated in comparative philosophy by publishing different books and articles in this area. In this article we try to re-study one of his books about comparative philosophy, by a critical approach. The book that in our aim here is “HerameHasti” (Pyramid of Being).In this book, Haeri try to notice to some philosophical problems, by a comparative approach between Islamic philosophy and western philosophy and logic. In this article we try to show that his book has some internal and methodical defects although has different merits for comparative investigations in philosophy, theology and logic.
