تبيين تأثير تلگرام بر رويكرد مشاركت سياسي (مطالعه موردي دانشگاه اصفهان)

Explaining Impact of Telegram Messenger on Political Participation Approach (Case Study: Isfahan University

مشاركت شهروندان در سياست از اصلي‌ترين عوامل دموكراسي در جامعه محسوب مي‌شود، كه از بسياري عوامل تأثير مي‌پذيرد. از جملة اين عوامل پيشرفت فناروي‌هاي اطلاعاتي و ارتباطي، نظير فناوري‌هاي وب2 (Web2) است كه فرصتي براي مشاركت سياسي افراد فراهم مي‌كند. اخيراً اين فناوري‌ها به ويژه شبكه‌هاي اجتماعي نظير تلگرام و دسترسي آسان به اين نرم‌افزار از طريق گوشي‌هاي هوشمند، سبب تقويت گفت‌وگوي عمومي در بين شهروندان، به‌خصوص جوانان شده است. در اين پژوهش، تأثير استفاده از شبكة اجتماعي تلگرام در گوشي‌هاي هوشمند بر رويكرد مشاركت سياسي بررسي شده است. پژوهش حاضر، به صورت پيمايشي، با استفاده از پرسشنامه طراحي‌شده و با حجم نمونه 375 نفر، بين دانشجويان دانشگاه اصفهان سال 1396 انجام شد و در پي پاسخگويي به اين پرسش است كه آيا بين ابعاد استفاده از شبكة اجتماعي تلگرام در گوشي‌هاي هوشمند با رويكرد مشاركت سياسي، رابطه معناداري وجود دارد يا خير؟ براي آزمون فرضيه‌ها نيز از روش تحليل همبستگي پيرسون و رگرسيون استفاده شده است. نتايج به دست آمده از تجزيه و تحليل پرسشنامه نشان مي‌دهد، بين مدت زمان استفاده و فعاليت كاربر در شبكة اجتماعي تلگرام با مشاركت سياسي، اثربخشي سياسي و آگاهي سياسي رابطه معنادار و مثبتي وجود دارد. به گونه‌اي كه زمان استفاده و فعاليت كاربر در تلگرام از طريق گوشي‌هاي هوشمند، سبب تقويت مشاركت سياسي، آگاهي سياسي و اثربخشي سياسي داخلي و خارجي مي‌شود

Citizen participation in politics is one of the main factors of democracy in a society, which can be influenced by several factors. Development in communication and information technology, such as Web 2.0 technologies, is among these factors which provides opportunities for people’s political participation. Recently, the utilization and ease of access via smart phones to these technologies, in particular to the social media such as Telegram Messenger, have enhanced public conversation among citizens especially the young people. In this study, we investigate the impact on political participation of the Telegram Messenger usage via smart phones. This research has applied survey methodology using a questionnaire, with the sample population of 375 from among the Isfahan University students. In particular, we seek to understand if there is a significant correlation between the usage of the Telegram Messenger via smartphones and the extent of political participation. The Pierson’s correlation and regression analysis have been used to test the hypotheses. The research findings indicate that there is a significant and positive correlation between the time and level of engagement in the social media, with the political participation, effectiveness and awareness. In other words, a higher usage of the Telegram Messenger via smartphones results in a higher political participation as well as political effectiveness and awareness in domestic and foreign issues
