Formation of Security Dilemma with Arm Competition in Asia – Pacific

منطقه آسيا- پاسفيك با توجه به حجم بالاي واردات تسليحات، افزايش هزينه هاي نظامي و مدرن سازي نيروي نظامي و دريايي كشورهاي منطقه، به سمت شكل گيري معماي امنيتي در حركت است. تحولات اقتصادي و نظامي همراه با رقابت استراتژيك در آسيا- پاسفيك باعث بي ثباتي و ناپايداري در آينده نزديك در اين منطقه خواهد شد. در اين حالت كشورهاي منطقه به دنبال افزايش امنيت از طريق ائتلاف يا افزايش توان نظامي خود براي مقابله با تهديدها و بي ثباتي در منطقه برمي آيند، همان چيزي كه رئاليست ها از آن به عنوان معماي امنيت ياد مي كنند. همه اين موارد در حال حاضر در آسيا- پاسفيك در حال وقوع است. بر اين اساس، مقاله به دنبال بررسي اين موضوع مي باشد كه آيا افزايش هزينه هاي نظامي و رشد واردات تسليحات در اين منطقه همراه با اختلافات ارضي و عدم وجود سازوكار مشخص براي حل اختلافات و نبود يكپارچگي امنيتي در بين كشورهاي منطقه پتانسيل شكل گيري معماي امنيت و درگيري را با توجه به حضور قدرت هاي مهم اقتصادي و نظامي همچون آمريكا، چين و ژاپن در آينده نزديك خواهد داشت؟

Asia –Pacific region is galloping toward security Dilemma formation considering the high volume of arm import، high rocketing military expenditure and modernization of military and maritime forces in the regional countries. Economic and military developments intertwined with strategic competitionin the Asia – Pacific region will lead in to destabilization of the region in near future. To cope with threats and destabilization، regional countries go after augmentation of their security through formation of coalition or upgrading their military power، what the realists remind it as security Dilemma. The whole developments currently are taking place in the region. Based on the facts، the article is seeking to consider whether the increase in the military expenditure and the augmentation of arms import in the region combined with territorial disputes، lack of definite mechanism for dispute settlement and lack of security integrity among the regional states، will have the potentials of formation of security Dilemma and conflict، taking in to account the presence of crucial economic and military powers like US، China and Japan in the region?
