يكي از ويژگي‌هاي اصلي ادبيات فارسي تجلي انديشه‌ها و كردارهاي تعليمي است كه بخش گسترده‌اي را به خود اختصاص داده است. از رسالت‌هاي فكري شاعران در اين حوزه، بازتاب تجربه‌هاي ملموس و بيان هنرمندانة موضوعاتي است كه راه روشن را در مسير پيشرفت انساني قرار مي‌دهد. گفتني است ابن‌ايمين در ميان سرايندگان دورة مغول، در ديوان خود به‌ويژه در قطعات دل‌انگيزش، افق روشني را پيش رو دارد. اشعار سرشار از نكته‌هاي اخلاقي و حكمت و پندش بيانگر علاقه و توجه او به ادب تعليمي است. سفارش به خردورزي، پند و اندرز، نيكي و بدي، قناعت، فقر و آزادگي، صبر و شكيبايي، طنز و انتقاد و نكوهش انسان‌هاي ياوه‌گو... با بزرگ‌منشي و مبادي فكري و اخلاقي ابن‌ايمين پيوستگي كامل دارد. بخشي از اين انديشه‌هاي تعليمي برخاسته از شرايط زماني و اوضاع فرهنگي، اجتماعي و سياسي شاعر در قرن هشتم است كه با غلبة دورة سياه مغول به‌طور طبيعي آشكار مي‌شود؛ بخشي نيز نتيجة دنياي آرماني است كه در قالب آرزو‌هاي شاعر براي هدايت نسل‌هاي بعدي در جامعه شكل گرفته است.

It should be said that Ibn Yemin, with his poems, especially his delicate pieces, has a clear horizon in the style of Khorasani with Iraqi style. an‎d the poetry of the ethical and linguistic points of his wisdom illustrates the interest of the poet in his literary teaching. Advocating for wisdom, adventure, goodness and evil, contentment, poverty and freedom, patience, satire and criticism and blaming of the fools shows his virtue of temperament, intellectual and ethical principles. Part of these didactic ideas emanates from the conditions of the cultural, social and political conditions of the poet in the eighth century, which has emerged naturally with the invasion of the Mongol attack. an‎d part of it is the product of the ideal world, which is in line with the wishes of the poet to lead the society and human beings in the next period on the heart of the literary history.
