بررسي وضعيت سلامت روان پرستاران شاغل در بيمارستان‌هاي شهرستان بهبهان

Assessment of mental health status among nurses working in hospitals in Behbahan city

مقدمه: يكي از مهم‌ترين عوامل تاثيرگذار در پيشرفت هر سازمان، سلامت روان كاركنان آن است. از آنجاكه پرستاران نقش مهم و حياتي در بهبود سلامت جامعه دارند هدف اين پژوهش، بررسي رابطه سلامت روان پرستاران مي‌باشد. روش‌كار: مطالعه‌ي حاضر، يك پژوهش توصيفي-تحليلي است كه از ميان پرستاران شهرستان‌هاي بهبهان 93 نفر (61 زن و 32 مرد) به صورت تصادفي ساده از بين بخش‌هاي مختلف انتخاب شدند و به پرسش‌نامه‌ي سلامت عمومي پاسخ دادند. داده‌ها با استفاده از نرم‌افزار SPSS نسخه‌ي 22 و آمار توصيفي و آزمون همبستگي تي مستقل تحليل شدند. يافته‌ها: نتايج به دست آمده نشان دادكه 75 درصد پرستاران غير سالم و 35 درصد، سالم بودند. بين سلامت عمومي پرستاران زن ومرد، تفاوت معني‌داري وجودداشت. بين ميزان افسردگي و اضطراب، عملكرد اجتماعي و جسماني در زنان و مردان پرستار، تفاوت معني‌داري وجود داشت. نتيجه‌گيري: باتوجه به يافته‌ها مي‌توان نتيجه گرفت كه اكثر پرستاران داراي ميزان سلامت روان پاييني داشتند و سلامت روان پرستاران زن در مقايسه با پرستاران مرد، بيشتر در خطر بودند.

Introduction: One of the major factors affecting the development of any organization is its employees' mental health. In consideration of the vital role, the nurses' role in promoting public health, the present study aimed at investigating the mental health status of the nurses. Materials and Methods: This research is a cross sectional study, addressing a sample of 93 nurses, including 61 females and 32 males, which have been chosen randomly from among the nurses working in various departments of hospitals in Behbahan city. The participants were asked to complete the general health questionnaire (GHQ). Data analysis was done using descriptive statistics i.e. mean, standard deviation, and frequency, and inferential statistics i.e. independent t-test for comparing health status of the two groups, in SPSS 22 software environment. Results: The results showed that 75 percent of the nurses were unhealthy and 25 percent healthy; there was a significant difference between the mental health status of male and female nurses; there was a significant difference between the rates of depression in male and female nurses; there were significant sex differences in prevalence of anxiety, physical functioning, and social functioning, as well. Conclusion: It can be concluded, on the basis of the findings, that the majority of nurses had a low mental health status, and the mental health status of female nurses is more at risk, compared to male nurses.
