مسئله احمدوندها در دوره حكومت ظل السلطان بر كرمانشاهان (1298-1305ق)

هدف: هدف از اين نوشتار تبيين و تحليل مسئلۀ احمدوندها، به‌عنوان يكي از دل‌مشغولي‌ها و نگراني‌هاي دورۀ حكومت ظل‌السلطان بر كرمانشاهان است. روش/ رويكرد پژوهش: پژوهش حاضر با روش توصيفي-تحليلي و با تكيه بر اسناد مراكز آرشيوي، روزنامه‌ها و تاريخ‌هاي محلي انجام شده‌است. يافته‌ها و نتيجه گيري نتايج اين تحقيق بيانگر آن است كه احمدوندهاي چلبي تابعيت عثماني را داشتند؛ ولي در دورۀ بررسي‌شده در اين پژوهش بيشتر در خاك ايران مستقر بودند. داشتن تابعيت عثماني نه‌تنها مانع استقرار احمدوندها در خاك ايران نشد، بلكه حتي جوان‌ميرخان رئيس آن‌ها نيز ازجانب دولت ايران به‌عنوان حاكم قصر شيرين منصوب شد و براي بيش‌از يك دهه فرد مقتدر نواحي سرحدي باقي ماند. پذيرش او در خاك ايران نتيجۀ قدرت نظامي اين ايل از يك‌سو و ضعف حكومت كرمانشاهان ازسوي ديگر بود. انتصاب جوان‌ميرخان به‌عنوان حاكم نواحي سرحدي نه از روي رغبت حكومت بلكه بيشتر براي كنترل اين ايل بود

Purpose: The role of Ahmadvand nomads in the western borders of Iran in the later part of the 19th century, and how they were expelled from the country is reviewed in this paper. Method and Research Design: Archival records and library resources were consulted to collect data. Findings and Conclusion: Ahmadvands were Ottoman Empire subjects; however, they often passed the borders freely and often settled in Iran. They imposed a threat to the region by looting and being involved in armed clashes. Governors of Kermanshahan failed to expel them from the Iranian territory for decades as Ahmadvands had strategic advantages in the region due to having control over the routes of other nomads. The governor of Zil el-Soltan deceived them by signing a peace agreement with their chiefs first, then ambushed and killed the chiefs, and forced the tribe to leave Iran.
