The Struggle between Love and Loneliness: A Research into the Maze of Rhino's Journeys

فريبا كلهر در مجموعه ي سفرهاي كرگدن از شخصيتي تنها سخن مي گويد كه سفري دروني و رازآلود دارد. مي توان گفت آنچه داستان ها را بهم پيوند مي دهد تلاش شخصيت هاي مختلف (قو، پري، شاپرك، آهو) براي برقراريِ ارتباط عاشقانه يا دوستانه با كرگدني است كه به ندرت از لاك خود بيرون مي آيد. هدف اين پژوهش بررسي جايگاه مجموعه سفرهاي كرگدن، در قلمروِ كتاب هاي تصويري داستاني است. جايگاه اين مجموعه با توجه به مفهوم به كل رسيدن كه خسرونژاد بدان اشاره دارد مشخص مي شود. در اين پژوهش به انواع ارتباط واژه و تصوير كه نيكولايوا و اسكات برشمرده اند اشاره و مفهوم به كل رسيدن با توجه به اين ارتباط ها بررسي مي شود. در بررسي كتاب هاي اين مجموعه با رويكردي توصيفي-تحليلي، ابتدا به اين مسئله پرداخته مي شود كه متن واژگاني بدون حضور متن تصويري، چه داستاني روايت مي كند، و سپس برهم كنش واژه و تصوير بررسي خواهد شد، تفاوت بين روايت واژگاني، و روايت واژگاني-تصويري برشمرده خواهد شد. ارتباط هاي افزايشي و تقابلي موجود در سفرهاي كرگدن آثار اين مجموعه و نيز خود مجموعه را به كلي فراتر از اجزا نزديك كرده اند.

Kalhor in Safarhay e Kargadan (Rhino's Journeys) describes a lonely character that goes on a mysterious internal quest. It can be said that what binds the six books of the collection is the effort made by different characters (Swan، Peri، Dragon Fly، and Gazelle) to relate to the rhino emotionally، while the rhino seldom comes out of his shell. The purpose of this research is to determine the status of this collection in the domain of picture-story books. The status of this collection is to be specified with regard to Khosronejad's theory of wholeness. In this research، different types of word and image interaction as counted by Nikolajeva and Scott are pointed out and the concept of wholeness is discussed in terms of the aforementioned interactions. In this research، with a descriptive-analytical method، first a thematic sketch of the verbal narrative will be drawn، and then the interaction of word and image will be explored to see to what extent pictures contribute to words. The enhancing and counterpointing interactions، commonly occurring in Safarhay e Kargadan (Rhino's Journeys)، seem to help the collection approach wholeness.
