  • Abstract
    Considering the importance of organizational health in companies and institutes, the present study set to investigate the internal factors affecting organizational health through prioritizing these effects using a medical approach to financial issues. The study specifically aims to examine the relationships of sales/service system, cost system of products/services, financing system, human resources system and information and technology system with organizational health. The study was conducted on the branches of Iran’s Cooperative Development Bank in 2012. In terms of objectives, the study was an applied research that adopted a descriptive-correlational method. The data was collected through field study using a number of 348 questionnaires administered to the same number of bank officers whose number was calculated via Cochran formula. The scale was on a 5-point Likert scale. The reliability of the questionnaire was calculated to be 0.79 using Cronbach alpha formula. One-sample t-test was used to analyze the participants’ responses to the questionnaire items and multiple regression test was used to examine the research hypotheses. The results showed a positive correlation of sales/service systems, cost system, information and technology system, financing and human resources with organizational health. From among the variables, human resources system was found to exert the most marked effect on organizational health.
