La synthèse dʹune plate-forme de Gough-Stewart pour un espace atteignable prescrit

This paper presents a genetic algorithm approach to determine the architectural parameters of a Stewart-Gough platform that has a workspace as close as possible to a prescribed workspace. The algorithm used determines the intersection between the actual workspace and the prescribed one. The genetic algorithm then optimizes 26 architectural parameters to minimize the area of the regions that do not intersect. The optimization can be performed for a fixed orientation of the platform, for an orientation that varies about a certain axis, or for different platform elevations. Résumé Cet article présente une approche utilisant un algorithme génétique pour obtenir les paramètres architecturaux dʹune plate-forme de Gough-Stewart qui aura un espace atteignable le plus proche possible dʹun espace prescrit au préalable. Lʹalgorithme utilisé détermine lʹintersection entre lʹespace atteignable réel de la plate-forme et celui prescrit. Lʹalgorithme génétique optimise ensuite 26 paramètres architecturaux pour minimiser les aires des régions qui ne sʹintersectent pas. Lʹoptimisation peut se faire pour une orientation fixe de la plate-forme, pour une orientation qui varie autour dʹun certain axe ou pour plusieurs élévations de la plate-forme.
