Abstract :
We present frst results for the doubly strange ΞN and YY interactions (Y=Λ,Σ) obtained within a chiral effective feld theory (EFT) approach based on the Weinberg power counting, by relating the S=−2 baryon-baryon interactions via SU(3) flavor symmetry to an YN interaction likewise derived within chiral EFT.
