Abstract :
The semi-crystalline dendritic polymers were prepared from the dendritic poly(ether-amide) with hydroxyl end-groups by being grafted with myristoyl chloride, palmitoyl chloride and octadecyl isocyanate in different substitution degrees, respectively. Thes substitution degree of hydroxyl groups by long alkyl chain was determined by 1H NMR. The thermal properties and the crystallization behaviors of the resulting samples were studied by differential scanning calorimetry, X-ray diffraction, small angel X-ray scattering and optical microscope. The experimental results have shown that the molecular structure of substituent and the substitution degree have strong influences on the glass transition temperature, melting enthalpy and the size of crystallite.
