Abstract :
We have observed the fluorescence emission of a monolayer of Rhodamine 6G coated on the surface of 32 μm glass microsphere under 632.8 nm excitation. The structural resonances of upconversion fluorescence around 550–580 nm region were observed, which could be assigned by using the well-known Lorenz–Mie Formalism.
