Structure of α-Sarcin Domain of Lupinus luteus

The α-sarcin domain of large rRNA participates in elongation of the polypeptide chain in all kingdoms. We present the primary sequence of this domain from plant material (lupine) and suggest a tertiary structure. We indicate significant differences between the plant and animal systems in stem structure of this domain.
