Abstract :
Using simple chemical vapor deposition method, the core-shell nanowires of FeCoNi alloy core with SiOx layers were made by two steps. As the FeCoNi alloy exhibits excellent soft magnetic properties and good thermal stability, the core-shell nanowires may be used in nanodevices such as the write heads of high-density magnetic recording systems.
