Abstract :
This study describes a new quantitative gravimetric measurement of characteristics of the phase separation of a liquid hydrocarbon under the effect of varying temperature. The present method may be used both to assess the amount of wax, which settles in a fuel, and also to assess a suitable amount of wax antisettling agent to be added to a fuel for maximum efficiency.
