Abstract :
Isothermal relaxation of the electrical resistance of glassy Pd40Cu30Ni10P20 and Pd40Cu40P20 has been studied. The first glass displays usual density increase upon structural relaxation and crystallization while the second one is fully unique, its density decreases upon crystallization. It has been found that the isothermal relaxation of the electrical resistance in these glasses is quite similar indicating that the density changes occurring upon aging do not appear to be a reason for the observed relaxation.
