Zones and integrals

By using a box-valued function (called zone function), the paper gives an algorithm for computing approximating values and guaranteed error bounds to definite integrals (with one or more variables). Besides a draft of the computer program, some numerical examples are also presented to illustrate the effectiveness of the method.
