Abstract :
A one-pot synthesis of dialkyl [indane-1,3-dione-2-ylidene]alkoxysuccinates in fairly good yields by the reaction of alcohols, dialkyl acetylenedicarboxylates, triphenylphosphine and ninhydrin is reported.
