Abstract :
Two kinds of spin-dependent scattering effects (magnetic and spin-orbit scatterings) have been studied theoretically in a quasi-two-dimensional disordered electron system. Weak-localization corrections to the conductivities have been calculated and obtained as functions of four characteristic scattering times: elastic, inelastic, magnetic and spin-orbit scattering times, and the relevant dimensional crossover behavior from 3D to 2D is discussed.
