Abstract :
X-ray diffraction and Raman scattering techniques have been used to study the structure of lithium potassium niobate crystals. The results show that a new phase (K3Li2Nb5O15) starts to appear at x=0.1 and becomes dominant at x=0.5. Two phase transitions of LixK1−xNbO3 corresponding to orthorhombic–tetrogonal (O–T) and tetragonal–cubic (T–C) transitions, have been observed using DSC. The doping effect on phase transition of LixK1−xNbO3 crystal has been studied.
