Abstract :
A method of coherent control of the resonant spontaneous optical phonon assisted secondary emission has been proposed for the study of exciton dynamics in a single semiconductor quantum dot (QD). A theoretical analysis of the time-integrated emission excited by a couple of phase-locked pulses of light resonant to fundamental transition of QD has shown that a dependence of the signal envelope function on the mutual delay between the pulses is directly determined by the dephasing rate of the transition.
