Abstract :
The relaxor behaviour of the (Pb0.8Ba0.2)[(Zn1/3Nb2/3)0.7Ti0.3]O3 ferroelectric ceramic is presented. A strong dispersion of the maximum of the dielectric permittivity (ε′) below the transition temperature (Tm) is observed, which shift towards higher temperatures with increasing frequency. There is a strong deviation from the Curie–Weiss law. The results are fitted by using the Volger–Fulcher relationship, showing typical behaviour of a spin glass system. The hysteresis loops suggest relaxor behaviour.
