Some studies on preparation and characterisation of cadmium sulphide films

Films of cadmium sulphide have been prepared using a simple technique of chemical bath deposition. These films were deposited on glass substrates. Different parameters such as deposition temperature, deposition time were changed to get a good quality film. Structural, optical and photo-conducting properties of CdS films have been investigated using X-ray diffraction, UV/VIS spectroscopy and I–V measurements.
