Abstract :
As an extension of electron–photon field dynamics, which is a numerically exact approach to the dynamics of a molecule–photon field coupled system, we present a calculation method for the dynamics of a molecular aggregate interacting with arbitrary photon fields. The many-body interaction among monomers are treated by considering dipole–dipole interactions. As an example, we investigate the dynamics of dimer models composed of two-state monomers interacting with an initially one-mode coherent photon field. It is found that the dipole–dipole interaction provides a significant influence on the feature of the collapses and revivals behavior of the molecular aggregate population, polarization and photon phase distribution.
