Abstract :
This study showed that it is feasible to create an ASD using a new cutting balloon catheter, followed by the ASD enlargement using a conventional static balloon dilation. The cutting balloon catheter is a novel approach that may be an effective alternative to the transvenous creation of an ASD in infants and children.
