Abstract :
Two types of neuron-like conducting polymers, polypyrrole, have been prepared electrochemically. One is 2-dimensional growth type and another is 3-dimensional one. The former has consisted of more than two fractal conducting polymers and conductivity of the path between these fractal conducting polymers has been controlled by doping and undoping using the third electrode. The conductivity between the branches is dependent on the duration time and the number of applied pulse to the third electrode. In order to make non-linear function on this network, another conducting polymer has been prepared at connected branch. We suggest a new neurontype conducting polymer device.
