  • Abstract
    Seven alumina samples with different chemical compositions are analysed by Auger electron spectroscopy. The method of Hall and Morabito is used for the determination of the surface concentrations. nd a concentration between 0.50 and 0.63 at.% for oxygen depending on the samples, which is in very good agreement with sample preparations.
