Strong convergence of a modified viscosity iteration for common zeros of a finite family of accretive mappings

A new modified iterative scheme {xn} is given for the viscosity approximating a common zero of a finite family of accretive mappings {Ai} in reflexive Banach spaces with a weakly continuous duality mapping J in the present paper. Under certain conditions, we prove the strong convergence of the sequence {xn}. The results here extend and improve the corresponding recent results of some other authors.
