Abstract :
The purpose of this study is to determine whether or not inter-organizational citizenship behaviours differ in terms of organizational culture types. A study was conducted to achieve this goal with 224 organizations in Kayseri. As a consequence of research results, it was ascertained that, in terms of organizational culture types, there is a significant difference among the organizational citizenship behaviours of the firms. Therefore, a culture type, in which inter-organizational citizenship behaviours are predominantly seen, is clan culture. It has been revealed that there is a negative-oriented relationship between the market culture and hierarchy culture and the sub-dimensions of inter-organizational citizenship behaviours, and a positive-oriented relationship between the clan culture and adhocracy culture and the sub-dimensions of the inter-organizational citizenship behaviours. These results indicated that organizational culture differences are of significance in terms of inter-organizational citizenship behaviours.
